Samsung Rolls Out a Smart Watch

Samsung will introduce a wristwatch-like device on September 4, according to Bloomberg. The watch, called Galaxy Gear, will allow users to make phone calls, surf the Internet, and manage emails. By rolling out the Galaxy Gear, Samsung hopes to attract watch buyers worldwide to use its platform which integrates with its smartphones, tablets and TVs.

 
The upcoming release of wearable smart devices by Samsung, Apple, and Google will have an immense impact on the mobile advertising space. They will give advertisers platforms to display targeted ads and possibly new communication channels that better a brand’s interaction with consumers.
