Smartt party wins kudos among tech consultants

For immediate release January 22, 2009 On January 21 SmarttNet invited it's technical consultants over for an evening of reward - their way of saying thank you to the many helping hands they've received over the years. The evening saw guests arrive from Skytrain, Apex Communications, Rent-A-Nert, Investment Pitch and many more. Having begun with mingling over wine and appetizers, groups of consultants were taken on a tour of SmarttNet's state-of-the-art colocation facility, open for just under a year. ??They were then taken to the board room where e-marketer Amy Cope presented a short overview of SmarttNet's new Internet marketing division (what they like to call the 'SmarttTeam'). "We wanted to show our consultants and helping friends that SmarttNet is still advancing, and will continue to accelerate growth along with the pace of technology," explained CEO Saleh Tousi. Afterwards, the crew headed over to ABC Country Restaurant where guests were served a complete three-course dinner. ??Everyone had a chance to introduce themselves. "It was well received," recalled Martin Wong, sales and marketing manager at SmarttNet. "The different representatives even got to make new connections and we definitely endorsed that. ??This was our big thank you to all of them, and now they have access to more help from each other." Three prizes were awarded in a business card draw, a digital photo frame, an office fountain (a replica of Wong's favourite, which he has in his own office), and a fire safe. SmarttNet plans on holding more events like these in the future. "It was a huge success - we didn't even realize how much of a good decision it was to hold this event. ??Everyone loved it, and everyone had a great time," said Wong.
